Re: Wand Fittings

Iris almost went out of the shop door, but realized at the last moment that she had left out a very important detail. She immediately turned back to Lex. "Miss Foxx, would you like to take those items now, or would you like for me to drop them in your office some other time?" Iris asked, pointing to the brooms, brass scales, and globe of the moon she bought earlier. Surely Lex doesn't expect her to carry them for a longer amount of time.

"All right m'am." The shopkeeper took out self-measuring tape. The self-measuring tape flew around the two witches, busily measuring. "It should tickle a bit." The shopkeeper warned.

Ellla Emerson felt the the tape tighten around her. And sometimes she wondered why they need to measure her for a wand. But she just shrugged the thought away.

After the measuring, the shopkeeper went to the wand shelves and took a wand. "Try this one."

Ella held the wand. It felt just like her old one, warm and powerful. She sent a little spark in the air, with no problem.

"Yes! That's surely the one!" said the shopkeeper. "10 1/2 inch, Beech, Phoenix Feather. And if you could come up to the counter, I'll check that out for you."

Lea poked her head through the door. Her wand! She had broken her last one (clumsy Lea) and needed a new one. "Hello?" she called out.

Oooh....another customer!

The shopkeeper clambered out of the back of the room clumsily, and bumping into several chairs. The shopkeeper arrived at the girl's side and gave a smile of greeting. "Hello Miss!" he said cheerily. "You need a wand?" the shopkeeper was in a good mood today.
