Wand Fittings

Come here and let the shopkeeper measure you arm length and so forth to find the perfect wand for you!

Lexandrianna stepped in the Ollivander's shop once again since her eleventh birthday, which was when she had gotten her first wand. Now that her old wand had worn out and splinched, it's time to get a new wand.

"Hello?" called out Lex. She really doesn't have much time for this. She still has to go to other shops to buy items for Hogwarts. It is best if this get done as fast as possible.

Did he hear...a customer?

Merlin's Beard! The shopkeeper had fallen asleep in this chair. There was a customer, and he didn't even realize! With much pace, the shopkeeper had to jog to get to the first customer of the day. "Good morning m'am. Are you here for a wand fitting?" asked the shopkeeper kindly.

"Yes, I'm here for the wand fitting. My last wand was quite old and splinched, so I wish to purchase a new one." explained Lexandrianna.

Iris entered the shop after a unsuccessful visit to Miss Foxx's office. She spotted Lex and waved. "Miss Foxx, I have all the items you needed!" Finally! That would explain why she wasn't at her office. To the shopkeeper, she exclaimed, "Hello? I would like a wand fitting please!"

"All right m'am." The shopkeeper took out self-measuring tape. The self-measuring tape flew around the two witches, busily measuring. "It should tickle a bit." The shopkeeper warned.

Iris watched as the self-measuring tape flew around her body, marking every measurement. Since she was practically unable to be tickled, she stood there firm and strong, waiting for the measuring tape to finish. She set her items on a nearby counter and watched as the tape struggled to scramble into a different position to help themselves measure.

When the measuring tape was all finished. The shopkeeper thought for a moment before going back behind the shelves. He returned a few seconds later with a wand in one hand and the box in another. "Try this one." he insisted.

Iris grabbed the wand from the shopkeeper, leaving the box in his hands. She flicked her wand like she always would. Unfortunately, a whole shelf of books were knocked off and a few knickknacks broke into a few thousand pieces (not that Iris would ever bother to count them). "Uhh, I'm insanely sorry!" Iris apologized, and she seriously meant it. "Got any other choices?" Iris asked hopefully.

The shopkeeper was used to the disasters. He'll clean them up later.

"Yes." said the shopkeeper as he told out another one to try. "Try this one then!"

"Thank you," Iris replied as she took the wand. This wand seemed to fit her hands a little better, giving her a comforting feeling. She tried a spell that's going to be hopefully less harmful, even if something does go wrong. Accio Iris commanded to a box of tissue. She smiled in delight as the box of tissues landed gently in her hands.

"Perfect! Thank you so much!" Iris beamed.

Ella went inside the wand shop to find it quite full and messy. But she didn't mind waiting. For she has nothing else to do. When her wand is particularly shredded.

The shopkeeper was delighted! "Yes! Yes! Knew that was the one!" The shopkeeper gently took the wand and wrapped it in the box. "Willow, 13 and 1/4, Unicorn hair! And that will be ten galleons if you would come to the counter with me." He said as she strolled over to the counters.

Iris was delighted. "Thank you! Unicorn hair, same as my last wand!" Iris held the wand in delight.

Then, she remembered one more task that she had to settle. She flicked a wand and all the broken objects were back into it's regular shape. All the books returned to its rightful place too. "Sorry about the mess, but at least it's taken care of, right?" Iris smiled slightly.

"Hello? You need a new wand?" he asked.

"Yes, Sir" Ella replied. "My wand is getting pretty old."
