Tragic Deaths

As we all know, there were many of our beloved characters that died in the movies. Which of these made you cry the most? Here are some of the characters (Do not consider the ghosts):

1. James Potter- Lord Voldemort killed him using the killing curse. This brave man tried to hold Voldemort off while Lily took Harry away.


2. Lily Potter- Another victim of Voldemort. She also was killed while trying to protect Harry.


3. Quirinus Quirrell- Was not a very liked or popular man. Killed by Harry Potter in the first book when Harry's hands, which were flaming hot to Quirrell, made contact with Quirrell's face.


4. Salazar Slytherin's Basilisk- Was killed by Harry, who drove Gryffindor's sword through the top of the snake's mouth.


5. Hagrid's Flobberworms- Died because nobody cared enough to keep them alive in Hagrid's class.


6. Frank Bryce- Murdered by Lord Voldemort for overhearing his plans about the Triwizard Tournament and Harry Potter.


7. Spider- Killed by Moody to perform the Unforgivable Curses to his class.


8. Cedric Diggory- Killed by Peter Pettigrew using Voldemort's wand when he accidentally teleported to Little Hangleton with Harry Potter and was unexpectedly disposed of.


9. Sirius Black- During the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, Bellatrix Lestrange's curse pushed him into the Veil.


10. Gibbon- Killed by Thorfinn Rowle, a Death Eater, during the Battle of the Astronomy Tower because Rowle sent a Killing Curse that missed Remus Lupin and struck Gibbon instead.


11. Albus Dumbledore- Killed by Serverus Snape (although it was secretly under Albus' order) during the Battle of the Astronomy Tower so that Lord Voldemort would gain Snape's trust and then Snape would spy on him.


12. Helena Ravenclaw- Killed by the Bloody Baron after she told him that she would not go back with him.


13. Hedwig- Hit by a Killing Curse during the Battle of the Seven Potters.


14. Alastor Moody- Killed by Voldemort, died after Mundungus Fletcher abandoned him during the Battle of the Seven Potters.


15. Rufus Scrimgeour- Killed by Voldemort after telling him he doesn't know where Harry Potter is.


16. Gregorovitch- Killed by Lord Voldemort during Voldemort's search for the Elder Wand.


17. Dobby- Loved by all, killed by a knife thrown by Bellatrix Lestrange while attempting to save Harry Potter and his friends from the Death Eaters at Malfoy Manor by apparating to Shell Cottage.


18. Griphook- Killed by Voldemort after informing him that Harry, Ron, and Hermione stole a "small golden cup" which was one of his Horcruxes.


19. Gregory Goyle- Kills himself because of Fiendfyre.


20. Fred Weasley- Killed by Augustus Rookwood in the Battle of Hogwarts.


21. Remus Lupin- Killed by Antonin Dolohov most possibly because of the Killing Curse, in the Battle of Hogwarts.


22. Nymphadora Tonks- Killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle of Hogwarts.


23. Severus Snape- Killed by Lord Voldemort and Nagini in the Battle of Hogwarts.


24. Bellatrix Lestrange- The murderer of Dobby was finally killed by Molly Weasley in the Battle of Hogwarts.


25. Lord Voldemort- Finally, Voldemort was killed by Harry Potter when he destroyed all of Voldemort's Horcruxes (Had a little help from Neville Longbottom).
